KidsChurch: The Wave and Ignite

Check-In and Pick-Up Policies

Elementary children (1st through 5th grade) can attend The Wave KidsChurch during each service, or choose to attend a smaller Sunday School-type class called "cBc" (children's Bible class).

All kids stay in their respective room during the entire service. If you are needed to return to your child's classroom, we will put your child's unique security code on a screen in the main auditorium. Children through 5th grade have to be checked-in at a computer station by a designated adult. Parents of 1st – 5th graders are asked to pick-up their children in The Wave.

KidsChurch: The Wave

Our big group kids church program is designed to provide children with an awesome, safe and culturally-relevant learning experience.  The room is set up to be an inviting place for them, filled with several exciting games and activities that they can participate in before the teaching starts.  After the service begins, children participate in age-appropriate worship music, games and multi media presentations focused around a weekly lesson taught through video by godly and enthusiastic leaders.

MAP books

Each child in KidsChurch also receives a take-home sheet, called a MAP book (Mission Action Plan). Each child is rewarded the next week if he or she brings back the MAP book with all activities completed, and a signature from a parent or other adult. It is our prayer that this easy-to-do "home work" sheet will help with retention and understanding of the weekly lesson

children's Bible classes

For the 4th and 5th grade level classes on Sunday morning, children have the option to attend their a cBc (children’s Bible class) instead of the large-group Big-group KidsChurch. Teacher and kids build community as they are given opportunities to grow spiritually and relationally each week within the same small group, with the same cBc leader.

REGISTRATION

Please register your child today through the online registration form.  We have to limit our enrollment to stay true to our small-group goals.
