As the Lord continues to bless Cornerstone Fellowship and make it larger in numbers, we must continue to pray for the growth and health of small group bible studies. These groups can be a main vehicle for life-long relationships, spiritual growth, connecting with others who connect with the Lord, and adding accountability to our growth.
Small Groups gather together to provide fellowship and mutual support. This fosters a growing church, a strong community and a way to further the Kingdom that God calls us to. Through fellowship and studying the Word, the body of Christ can be cared for and the world can be influenced by those who are obedient.
All groups operate according to certain values and expectations. Cornerstone Small Groups are no exception. It’s important to create an atmosphere where friends, neighbors and families can affirm and encourage one another, build each other up in Christ, and help each other grow. Our vision is to help people connect in small groups for the purpose of growing in Christ, maturing in faith, walking with the Lord, serving in obedience and loving one another. Small Groups should be a place where openness, honesty, confidentiality and accountability are commonplace. Small Groups should establish logistics and values that are agreed upon by the group.
Our responsibility to share our faith rests with each of us. Get connected into a Cornerstone Small Group to pursue your lifelong process of spiritual growth in Christ.
