Biblical Financial Concepts
Rick has recently joined our Missions Team as the Director of our new Biblical Financial Concepts ministry. The mission of BFC is to help individuals, couples and businesses achieve true financial freedom. Rick is concentrating on Northern California thru the use of seminars, workshops, retreats, clinics, classes, small groups, preaching, teaching and one on one coaching sessions. He has been training budget coaches for churches around the Bay Area, including the team here at Cornerstone. Rick was trained by Larry Burkett as a referral budget counselor back in 1982. He spent 20 years with A.T. & T., served as a pastor at East Bay Fellowship, founded Cornerstone Credit Counselors, and served Crown Financial Ministries as the Director of Seminars and Bay Area Director in California.
In addition to leading the Crown “Journey to Financial Freedom & Business by the Book” seminars in larger churches, he has been concentrating on bringing shorter, less expensive seminars and workshops to the smaller churches in No. Calif. He is also working to build a team of Bay Area budget coaches to help meet the great demand for help.
Please pray that:
- Attendees would have a teachable spirit regarding God’s principles of handling resources
- Attendees would not only learn, but then apply and eventually teach the principles to others
- Volunteers would continue to be available to learn and then train others
- Support would rise to meet the ministry needs
