Serve the City

Letter from Pastor Dave

Greetings in the name our Lord!

At Cornerstone, we are passionate about several things. We are passionate about growing through the intentional study of God's word. We are passionate about developing our spiritual gifts and using them for God's glory. We are passionate about developing authentic relationships whether it be in small groups or one on one discipling. One other area that we are passionate about as a church is living out our faith through a lifestyle of serving those in need.

I am excited about the Serve the City Event because it gives us an opportunity to go into the community as a family and actually provide some hope and help to those that are hurting in different ways. At the Brentwood campus, we are striving to be defined as a church that looks for the lonely, that feeds the hungry, and that lifts up the afflicted. Serve the City gives us the chance to participate practically in all of these areas.

I challenge you to walk with us in this. Sign up and show up. Even our kids are welcome and expected to be an integral part in what we are doing. This week will launch our never ending pursuit of worshipping Him through serving others. You don't have to be a long time member of Cornerstone to join us in service, so invite your friends and neighbors to come along! See you there!

Blessings,
Pastor Dave
