Caregiving Ministries

We are all called to be His ministers.  One example of this is our ministry to our brethren in their times of need, and what best defines the value that we at Cornerstone place on care-giving ministries are found in the words of Jesus Christ Himself:    Matt. 22:37,39

 “…You shall love the Lord your God with all your heart, with all your soul, and with all your mind. …You shall love your neighbor as yourself.

This is how we are to demonstrate the first part:    Matt. 25:35,36

“for I was hungry and you gave Me food; I was thirsty and you gave Me drink; I was a stranger and you took Me in; ‘I was naked and you clothed Me; I was sick and you visited me; I was in prison and you came to Me.”

This is why we are to fulfill the second:    Matt. 25:40

“…Assuredly, I say to you, inasmuch as you did it to the least of these My brethren, you did it to Me.”
